The mean intakes for each day of presentation of alcoholic beverage for three groups of subjects, a placebo-control group and two groups that had received 2 mg of estradiol valerate (n = 10 a group), one of which had ovariectomies. Notice that there is considerable variation associated with days within weeks. More importantly, notice that the intakes of the two groups receiving 2 mg of EV drank more during the 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th week of opportunity to do so.
