It is attached to C454, which normally participates in the disulfide linkage with the LC. Cy3 and Oregon green 488 are bound to O-amino groups of lysine in the rHC and dextran, respectively. The dextran is conjugated to the rHC by a C-N bond in one of the glucose residues. In a functional DDV, multiple drug molecules may be attached to dextran carrier.Back to article page
