Some DRG neurones under control conditions do not show spike frequency adaptation but fire multiple action potentials during depolarization by 500 ms current commands. This was a different firing pattern to that seen when c.Sg induced multiple fire. A) Voltage trace of control multiple action potential firing neurone.
