B & C) Traces of high voltage-activated Ca2+ currents evoked from a holding potential of -90 mV by a depolarising step command to 0 mV showing inhibition by pregabalin (2.5 μM). B) Shows that pressure ejection of choline chloride extracellular solution does not induce inhibition of the Ca2+ current but in the same neurone pregabalin does produce a response. Traces show a control Ca2+ current (Ctrl), the current unaffected by application of choline chloride recording solution (ChCl), inhibition of current by 3 minutes application of pregabalin (PGB) and the current at 5 minutes recovery (Rec).
