The data represent means ± SD (n = 5 for each group). A: significant (p < 0.05; two sample t test with Welch's correction) increase as compared to the non-EtOH group; B, b: significant (p < 0.05; two sample t test with Welch's correction) increase (B) or attenuation (b) as compared to the control group. In the EtOH-cotreated groups, "B" and "b" denote significant alterations as compared to the control groups with and without EtOH treatment.
