  1. Reduced and oxidized glutathione levels were measured in liver homogenate from control, CCl4 and natansnin (10 mg/kg, 20 mg/kg body weight) treated rats. Glutathione levels are expressed as μmoles per gram tissue. Ratio = GSH-2(GSSG)/GSSG.
