Cells were plated at an initial density of 20000 cells/well, and the effect of the peptide (changed every day) was assayed after two cell cycles (4th day). The number of cells therefore, in control conditions (in the absence of the peptide) was 80000/well. Cell viability was in all cases >95%. Diprenorphin was added simultaneously with receptorphin, at a concentration of 10-6 M. Mean ± SEM of three different experiments performed in triplicate.Back to article page
