A) Neither olanzapine nor risperidone significantly changed the contraction time. B) The expulsion time was significantly decreased by both olanzapine and risperidone. Olanzapine abolished the expulsion time at 1.0 mg/kg. C) The amplitude of the HFO was significantly decreased by both olanzapine and risperidone. Olanzanpine had a greater effect, abolishing the HFO at 1.0 mg/kg, whereas risperidone decreased the amplitude to approximately 50% of control values. * = p < 0.05; ** = p < 0.01
